Ovarian cancer kills more women than all other gynecologic cancers combined. It is the fifth leading cause of cancer deaths among women in the United States affecting one in every sixty nine women.

Old Salt Fishing Foundation is hosting its 28th Annual Ladies Fishing Tournament benefiting Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation. The Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation funds ovarian cancer research and provides financial assistance to families coping with the burden and harsh realities of ovarian cancer. Held annually the Ladies Fishing Tournament offers a wonderful, competitive event for lady anglers raising funds to help the Foundation meet its fiscal objectives. In The Ladies Fishing Tournament has generated in excess of $90,000 in charitable donations for the Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation in the past 8 years alone.

Species: Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Snapper, Kingfish, Sea Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead & photo release Redfish & Snook,

Prize Packages (by species): 1st Place – $500; 2nd Place – $300; 3rd Place – $200 and Master Angler $500

The Event

Old Salt will host over 200 lady anglers for this tournament. The Ladies Tournament is a unique, competitive event that challenges the anglers, raises money and increases awareness & support for the Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation. Ladies statewide will compete in the largest event of its kind in the state of Florida. Whether the angler prefers inshore or offshore, their own boat or a charter, this tournament is designed to accommodate all comers.
