The United States Marshals Service and Federal Court Officers 12th Annual Golf Tournament in the name of Deputy U.S. Marshal Lisa Alfonso was a huge success.
In the name of Deputy U.S. Marshal Lisa Alfonso
There were 144 golfers, great prizes and chances to win cars and cash, everyone enjoyed themselves and played great golf. The board and members of the Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation thank Charles A. Martini, his volunteers, sponsors and the staff of Plantation Golf Club for a wonderful tournament and especially their hard work. Several board members and family competed.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”” parallax=”” parallax_image=”” seperator_indeed_locker=”Indeed Social Locker” lk_sl=”” lk_t=”” lk_la=”horizontal” lk_dc=”true” lk_dfn=”true” lk_lt=”2″ lk_etl=”0″ lk_tl=”30″ lk_nru=”0″ lk_rl=”0″ lk_lra=”30″ lk_lrt=”days” lk_io=”” lk_lp=”50″ lk_dm=”0″ lk_thm=”0″ lk_tuo=”0″ lk_dt=” “][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_toptitle title=”Letter from the Chairman”][vc_column_text]I would like for all of you to stop, take a step back, and think of all who serve and protect to keep our communities safe. I am specifically referring to Deputy United States Marshal Lisa Alfonso who has dedicated her career to the service’s motto — Justice, Integrity, and Service. In doing so, Lisa has enhanced the unity and cooperation of communities and law enforcement agencies. She is highly respected throughout the United States Marshals Service and partnering agencies.
Lisa was recently diagnosed with Stage III Ovarian Cancer. She has fought hard and is currently working on returning to what she loves, being a Deputy US. Marshal. During her intensive chemotherapy sessions, Lisa had the opportunity to meet a number of women lighting this disease, many of whom are dealing with it alone. It wasn’t long before Lisa made it her mission to try to help as many ofthese women as possible. While she acknowledges the fact that she is blessed to have an enormous amount of love and support from her family, friends, and co—workers, she also realizes that there are a number of women who are less fortunate.
Respectfully,
Charles Martini (Chairman) and Dexter Sylvester
