Lisa is a retired Deputy U.S. Marshal. She was born and raised in Tampa, Fl. She received her BA Degree in Criminology from the University of South Florida. In 2011, Lisa was diagnosed with Stage IIIC Ovarian Cancer and in 2012 she became a foundation Board member. In May 2014, after a fifteen-year career with the United States Marshals Service, Lisa had to retire due to the progression of her disease. When she is not receiving treatment, she is out and about sharing her own personal story with women everywhere, hoping to make a difference in One life and assist the foundation in giving this “silent killer” a voice.
